Testing out blog trackback using Wordpress

This is just a test of the “trackback system” using Wordpress. Never used it before so i thought I would give it a go. The website I chose to do a “trackback” has a good article on the Cronulla riots late last year, that has a photo of a couple of cops selling beer (photo has been altered) that got a laugh from me.

Anyway if this all works then I might start doing “trackbacks” on a more regular basis. Will need to look into if or not its any good for traffic to my blog. Thats the most important thing to consider.

• New installation of Wordpress 2.0.2

This is just a test post to my blog, to see if the Wordpress upgrade to 2.0.2 worked. So far all I get is 404 page not found... but if this post can be seen then things look promising. Fixed the problem... it was a plug-in that needed to be upgraded. All is now 100% spot on :) ....

This is a test post to the Catagory... Dating And Romance Normally I delete these test posts once the blog is up and running smoothly... but this time I think I will leave them as a reminder to myself of what alterations to the original version of Wordpress have been made to this Blog to get it appear the way I....
• WYSIWYG Wordpress Plugin Test

• Test RSS Feed To Blog

This is a test to see if the RSS feed plugin by Rawlinson has been uploaded and installed in the Wordpress Contents and Plugins folder correctly. For the test I have chosen an RSS feed by Yahoo for mobile phone technology. ....
• Blog Is Now Ready To Use

After what seemed like a month of mucking around I have finally got around to finishing this blog. Have done all the things that were needed, including rss feeds in the sidebar and installing the Google sitemaps plugin. Also placed all the rss feed urls on MyYahoo. Now all I got to do is start blogging.....
